Farley, David Alan
David Alan Farley, 35, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 8, 2010. Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Survivors include his wife, Kayla; a daughter, Alexandrea (Alex) Farley of Cedar Rapids; his father, Van David Farley of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Maria (Chuck) Downin of Cedar Rapids; his grandmother, Esther Welsh of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Dana (Josh) Marble, Anissa Downin and Vanessa Farley, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Vincent Farley of Cedar Rapids; and two nephews, Jermy and Matthew Marble.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald Welsh, Laura and Leonard Baker; and his aunt, Lora Armstrong.
David was born Oct. 22, 1974, the son of Van David and Marie Louise (Armstrong) Farley in Iowa City. David loved his family and liked to draw. He enjoyed fishing, the Dallas Cowboys and collecting Hot Wheels.
A memorial fund has been established in David's memory for his daughter, Alex.
