Farkas, Jessica Ann 'Jess'
Jessica Ann “Jess” Farkas, 21, of Iowa City, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, after enduring a one-year illness.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City. (Sunday parking ordinance will be in effect for the streets around the church). Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jess's memory.
