Fargo, Pauline A.
Pauline A. Fargo, 95, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at the Anamosa Care Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Wilcox Cemetery in Viola.
Surviving is a cousin, Joyce (Leon) Soukup of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and a lifelong friend, Dale LaBarge.
Pauline A. Fargo was born Aug. 18, 1916, in Viola, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Rushford) Drumbarger. She was a 1932 graduate of Anamosa High School. Pauline worked at the Anamosa Hospital as a unit secretary and a nurse's aide for 30 years. She work at Reliance Shirt Factory in Anamosa for 10 years and at the Ben Franklin store in Anamosa for 20 years.
She had many pets through the years she loved dearly and enjoyed fishing during her younger years.
