Faas, Kevin C.
Kevin C. Faas, 56, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following an extended illness. There will be no public services.
Kevin was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, to Mel and Leita (Feckley) Faas. On Oct. 5, 1984, he married Deb Haefner in Vinton. He was a trucker and Kevin truly loved his children.
He is survived by his wife, Deb; his children, Danielle (Nick) Soteros and Matt Faas, both of Vinton; his mother, Leita Faas of Vinton; and his brother, Mike (Beverly) Faas of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
