Faas, Edna P.
Edna P. Faas died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City at the age of 81 years. Celebration of Life services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Pastor Paul Nus will officiate. Burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg.
She is survived by her husband, Dairyl of Millersburg; two daughters, Elaine Faas (special friend Patti Foltz) of Cedar Rapids and Debra (Phil) Faas-Schoenthaler of Cedar Rapids; a son, Duane (Sheryl) Faas of Ames; grandson, Joshua (Mindy) Faas of Ames; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Khloe, Kamryn and Kenndi; and a sister, Elda Shine of Victor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harvey Wardenburg; two sisters, Selma Plotz and Irma Dellamuth; and a great-granddaughter, Karli Jo Faas.
Memorials have been established for University of Iowa Hospitals Palitive Care Unit or Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid.
