Everett Walton, 90, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. Private services and committal will be held.
Everett was born Oct. 17, 1924, near Buffalo Center. On July 6, 1946, he married Arlene Techau at Springville. Everett served his nation in the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed house mover and was a member of the Walter J. Meyocks American Legion Post No. 264 of Urbana.
Everett is survived by his wife, Arlene; his sons, Everett S. Walton of Clinton, Daniel P. Walton of Vinton and David A. Walton of Cedar Rapids; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
