Everett, Francis P.

Francis P. Everett of Palmetto, Fla., formerly of Marion, died Dec. 26, 2012, at his home. He was 91.

Francis was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Wadena, Iowa, to Herbert and Margaret (Fennell) Everett. He was married to Agnes Maker on March 5, 1946.

Francis is survived by his loving wife, Agnes Maker Everett of Palmetto, Fla.; daughters, Marilyn Willard of Marion, Paula Morreale of Palmetto, Fla., Barbara Hill of Riverview, Fla., and Lori and Tonya Everett of Parish, Fla.; sons, Francis H. and Cindy Everett of Humboldt and Kevin and Kathy Everett of Fairfax; a sister, Helen Everett Gienapp of Minnesota; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Gerald (Rusty), Harley, Leo and Paul Everett; sisters, Gladys Timmerman, Betty Grieff, Joyce Kuehl, Alberta Earhardt and Velma Gienapp; sons-in-law, Russell Willard and Daniel Morreale; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Francis was a very special man who enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and fishing. In his later years, he enjoyed watching sports on television, including football, golf, and baseball, especially the Tampa Bay Rays baseball games.
