Evens, Pearl I.
DYSART - Pearl I. Evens, 28, of Dysart, formerly of Vinton, died suddenly in his home on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010. Celebration of Life: 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the home of Alberta Parker, 3149 59th Street Trail, Vinton. RSVP at (319) 453-5590. Please bring a side dish or dessert if attending. Following the potluck, a bonfire will begin at dark.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea; and children, Tomi, Gabi, Crysta and Nurre.
Pearl “PJ” was born March 5, 1982, in Belvidere, Ill. He worked as a truck driver.
Pearl enjoyed life - racing, fishing, professional wrestling, working on old cars and leaving things undone. Pearl loved spending time with his family and friends and wrestling around with the kids.
He was a loving husband, father, son-in-law and a great friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for his wife and children has been set up under Sue Nurre, 3149 59th Street Trail, Vinton, IA 52349.
