EVELYN P. "POLLY" HOCAMP

Evelyn P. "Polly" Hocamp, 80, of Marengo, died peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Colonial Manor of Amana. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Family graveside services will be held at Dalmanutha Cemetery, rural Casey. A memorial fund has been established.
Evelyn Pauline was born March 16, 1938, in Casey, Iowa, the daughter of Claude Leo Osborn and Esther Lydia Clyde Osborn. She attended the Casey elementary and high school and married Lawrence "Bud" Hocamp
in 1955. The couple then moved to California. She later divorced and relocated back to Iowa in 1970. Polly worked several office and sales positions throughout the years, retiring from MCI in Cedar Rapids in 1999.
She is survived by her children, Tony (Tricia) Hocamp and Kim (Brett) Volk; grandchildren, Elisabeth, Nicholas and Joshua Hocamp, Kyle (Rachel) Volk and Zach (Julie Mueller) Volk; great-granddaughters, Emmersyn and Aidalyne Volk; a sister, Twila (Lee) Garside; and several nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Lois (Merle) Conrad and Velva (Bill) Potter.
The Hocamp family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Marengo Memorial Hospital and Mercy Iowa City, for the excellent care provided to our mother.
