Evelyn Delores Vileta, 90, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024. A visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2024, 4:00-8:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. Service will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, 1:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Evelyn was born October 5, 1933, to Buick and Hazel (Brady) Wolfe. She worked at the Nightlife and did waitressing in Shueyville. She also drove limousine for the Cedar Rapids Airport with her father and uncle Alvy. After having children, she stayed at home to raise them.
Evelyn was a longtime member of the Lions Club. She enjoyed attending family activities and sporting events, going to the casino, sewing, landscaping, playing the accordion, and puzzles. She especially loved road trips and vacationing.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Marie, Linda (Bud), Kathy (Dave), and Karen (Dennis); grandchildren, Jennifer (Albert), Michael (Rachel), Tanya (Carlos), Troy (Gemma); great-grandchildren, James (Abby), Trenten (Bridget), Johanan, Jezias, Yavila, Suahily, Maelen, and Eve; brother, Rolly (Carolin); and cousin, Barb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; and parents.
