Evelyn Cook, 84, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Prairie Hills Assisted Living in Independence. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial: Fremont Township Cemetery, north of Winthrop. Visitation Time: 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include her two sons, David (Jan) Cook of Fairborn, Ohio, and Tom (Kathy) Cook of Independence; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
