Evelyn Clark, 93, of Tipton, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. Ron Lashmit officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fry's.

Evelyn was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Cedar County, Iowa, and was the daughter of Everett and Frieda Bock Ford. Evelyn was married to Robert Ivan Clark on Dec. 24, 1940, in Tipton. Evelyn was a homemaker and attended functions at the Red Oak Church throughout her life. She was a member of the Farm Bureau, REC, the Cattle Association (Simmental Cattle), was a member of the Piece Makers and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Betty (Charles) Johnson of Mechanicsville; her son, James (Mary) Clark of Tipton; son-in-law, Leroy Jackson of Mechanicsville; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; daughter, Joyce Jackson; three brothers; and four sisters.
