Evelyn Margaret Bartosh, 85, of Walford, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. A memorial service celebrating Evelyn's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 29, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel with Cedar Memorial Celebrant Jim Parton officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Westside Chapel. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Hala Cemetery.
Survivors include her three sons, Richard of Nevada, Iowa, Michael (Janna) of Fort Worth, Texas, and James of Walford. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley, in 1995; sister, Mary Dlouhy; and brother, Richard Zenisek.
Evelyn Margaret Zenisek was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Solon, Iowa, the daughter of Anthony and Geneva (Beuter) Zenisek. On Feb. 5, 1951, she married Wesley Bartosh in Cedar Rapids. She worked at Rockwell Collins for many years until retiring in 1988.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Camp Courageous or to the family.
