Eva Kathleen Rochford, two days old, was welcomed home by God on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, by the Rev. Dustin Vu. Burial for immediate family only at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fairfax. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday after 9 a.m., before the services.
Eva Kathleen was born Feb. 14, 2015, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of David and Julie Rochford, and sister of Anna Rose Rochford. She also is survived by her grandparents, William (Rhonda) Rochford and Steven (Kathleen) Zabokrtsky; great-grandparents, Josephine Rochford, Lee (Shirley) Hoeger and Arlene Zabokrtsky; her godparents, Alexander Schmitz and Theresa Rochford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Eva was greeted in heaven by her two angel baby siblings and several loving great-grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials in the name of Eva Kathleen to the St. Luke's Ronald McDonald House.
