Eva Ramirez Garcia, 70, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022. Visitation will be from
9 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Abraham (Stacey) Garcia, Eva Garcia Vasquez, Cesar Garcia, Celestino (Amanda) Garcia, Angelica (Shefki) Ajeti and Maria (Devin) Chapman; grandchildren, Danielle (Ryan), Gabrielle (Kris), Dominique, Eva, Martha (Brennan), Krystal, Aaron, Ariana, Gavin, Hudson, Nevaeh, Gavin, Celestino, Elle, Emmie Adonis, Aryssa, Liam, Preston, and Parker; great grandchildren, Wesley, Arlo, Amirah, Scarlett, Willow, River, Audreyana, Giovanni, Cecilia, Rosalinda, Reynaldo, Leonardo and Evangelina; daughter-in-law, Terese Duncan; and son-in-law, Fabian Florencio.
Eva was born on June 10, 1951, in Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of Jose and Maria (Espinoza) Ramirez. She loved caring for her family, especially her many grandchildren. Eva enjoyed cooking and will be remembered for her tamales. She enjoyed everything about Elvis and watching her novellas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
