Eugene Paul Kriegel, 66,
of Brooklyn, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, Iowa. A rosary will be recited beginning at 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christina; three children, Amy (Steve) Krakow, Ryan (Cari) Kriegel and Angela (Chad) Grimm; nine grandchildren, Zachary and Benjamin Smith, Lucas (Marissa), Jacob, Katie and Blake Krakow, Jayden and Jaxson Grimm and Mishayla Kleinmeyer; one great-granddaughter, Ava Kleinmeyer; five siblings, Phyllis (Myron) McGowan of Vinton, Susan (John) Everett of Atkins, Phillip (Teresa) Kriegel of Brooklyn, Joseph (Kim) Kriegel of Brooklyn and Diana (Ken) Swartz of Puntagorda, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
