Ainsworth
Eugene J. Bixby, 60, of Ainsworth, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at his residence after being seriously ill for the past two months. Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in
Washington, with Pastor Jim Cluney officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday. Interment will take place at Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Bixby of Ainsworth; son, David Bixby and wife Cindy of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Shelly Renoux of Washington; four grandchildren, Tanner, Tucker and Abby Renoux and Marissa Bixby; sister, Linda Krug and husband Dan of Coralville; and sister, Evelyn Bixby and special friend Bob Benda of Washington.
