Esther Lorraine Graham, 72, of Marion, formerly of Alburnett, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, at Bickford Cottage in Marion. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Daniel Peterson. Burial: Lafayette Cemetery, Alburnett.

Esther is survived by her daughter, Laurie Graham of Cedar Rapids; son, Steve (Aprill) Graham of Alburnett; three grandsons, Andrew Graham, Nathaniel Graham and Jackson Graham; two sisters, Deloris Webber of Cedar Rapids and Helen Taylor of Marion; two brothers, Darrel (Rosie) Weaver of Central City and Everett (Kay) Weaver of Marion; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Graham of Colleyville, Texas, and Melvin Goldsworth of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sister, Diana Goldsworth; beloved pet, Izzy; and several extended family members.

Esther was born April 30, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Leland D. and Berneta M. (Haines) Weaver. She graduated from Marion High School in 1962. On Sept. 8, 1968, in Marion, she married Donald W. Graham. Esther worked as a secretary in the registrar's office at Coe College for many years.

A memorial fund has been established.
