Ernest Wright, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Jan. 9, 2023, following a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, Jeff (Joan) Wright; daughter, Deb Wright; and grandchildren, Alicia (Nathaniel) Blumberg, Krysta (Kevin) Higgins and Jeremy Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Katie (Stoneking) Wright; sister, Dorothy Paul; son, Terry; and daughter, Diane.
Born Dec. 22, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, he graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1953. On May 23, 1956, he married Patricia Moore in Nashua, Iowa.
