Eric Arthur Netherton, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died
Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at his home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon
Saturday, April 15, at Mission of Hope, 1700
B Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids. All are invited to
the service and the luncheon to follow.
Survivors include his brothers, Chad and
Bret Netherton; and his father, Dale Leroy
Netherton.
He was preceded in death by his mother,
Annette Gail Moreland.
Eric was born Jan. 12, 1959. He graduated
from Prairie High School and Kirkwood Community
College. Over a period of a couple decades, Eric had
hitchhiked to all 48 contiguous states in the U.S.
Eric was a gentle spirit who held a light up to the
world. He will be dearly missed.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to
Mission of Hope for offering its time and resources to
provide Eric with a proper service. Eric would often
frequent Mission of Hope for fellowship during holiday
meals.
