Engelken, Viola Margaret
Viola Margaret Engelken, 84, of Manchester, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty officiating. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, where there will be a 2 p.m. rosary, and one hour before Mass time Tuesday at the church. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Engelken of Manchester; five children, Ron (Gloria) Engelken of Elko, Minn., Wayne (Janet) Engelken of Greeley, Gary (Julie) Engelken of Manchester, Elaine (Dan) Dunkel of Covington and Nancy (Mark) Recker of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed (JoAnn) Loeffelholz of Dyersville; her sister, Norma (Paul) Tegeler of Dyersville; and two sisters-in-law, Anita Loeffelholz and Freida Loeffelholz.
Vi was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dean in 2005; and three brothers, Arthur (MaryAnn), Walter and Donald Loeffelholz.
