On Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, Elwood "Bud" Maloney left this life and was reborn into his next. He died after a very short illness of an undetermined lung infection.
He is survived by his wife, Flo Maloney; and his children, Florrie Maloney-Turner and husband Scott, Randy Maloney and wife Stacey, Marie Maloney, Ron Maloney and wife Sandra, Ray Maloney and wife Pam, Jennifer Maloney and Tricia Maloney-Craig and husband Piper.
He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Lou Van Cleve, Normalea Krumholz, Shirley Kane, Louise Larson and Kathy Serra; and brothers, Loras Maloney and Tom Maloney.
He was preceded in death by his parents. EJ and Velma Marie Maloney.
He was a man with a humble and gentle spirit, always looking for the humor in life. He loved good food, a good practical joke, his country and above all his family and The Lord God. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Yuba City, Calif., at noon Saturday, Aug. 23.
