Ellis, Tina M.
Tina M. Ellis, 39, of Watkins, Iowa, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Cedar Rapids Family Church by Pastor Daniel Winn. The family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and they will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include husband, Andy; father, Larry (Nancy) Stroschein; mother, Connie (Bob) Hayes Konigsmark; children, Paul Walker of Cedar Rapids, and Alyssa Ellis, Brady Ellis and Eben Ellis, all of Watkins; stepchildren, Ashley Ellis-Harbach and Amanda Garrity; stepgrandchildren, Nolan and Kylie; sisters, Amy (Wayne) LeRoy of La Porte City and Kristie (Channon) McKibben of Newhall; stepsisters, Sara (Ed) Hertrampf of Elkader and Katie Klosterman of North Liberty; stepbrothers, Aaron (Brandy) Klosterman of Coralville and Bryan (Andrea) Klosterman of North Liberty; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Born June 25, 1973, in Des Moines, Iowa, Tina was the daughter of Larry Stroschein and Connie Bullock. On Sept. 13, 1995, she was united in marriage to Andy Ellis. Tina was a published author and worked for Country Gourmet and Rockwell Collins.
Tina loved spending time with her family. She was a really hard worker who enjoyed playing sports and vacationing with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tina's memory for a college fund for her children.
