Ellis, Thelma E. Petersen
Thelma E. Petersen Ellis, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with a gathering of family and friends one hour before the service.
Survivors include her life partner, Donald, with whom she spent 52 years; her children, Larry (Joyce) Petersen, Becky Hewitt, Cindy Petersen (Richard), Scott Ellis, Sherri (Duane) Wesbrook and Lynette (Cris) Fuller; son-in-law, John Frazier; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her dog, Daisy.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Wilma Slaymaker; and her daughter, Sandy Frazier.
