Ellis, Linda Susan 'Sue'
Linda Susan “Sue” Ellis, 65, of Central City, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at her home due to complications from cancer. Per Sue's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City.
Survivors include her husband, John of Central City; her children, Sherri (Carl) Olivas of Central City and Bryan (Shelly) Ellis of Central City; her five grandchildren, Cassi Holsinger, Nicholas and Nathan Olivas and Kyra and Cami Ellis; and her two brothers, Les Baych of Robins and Jack Baych of New Albin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sue was born June 28, 1948, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of John and Irene (Meyers) Baych. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School in Cedar Rapids. Sue worked for Gazette Communications, Kmart and Kohls. She enjoyed playing cards, garage sales, working puzzles, going to the casino and fishing. Her greatest love of all was her family and spending as much time as she possibly could with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by them.
