Elliott, Eve Fear Fiscus

Eve Fear Fiscus Elliott, 95, a resident of Crestview Acres Care Center in Marion, died there Saturday, June 26, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. David Grandon will officiate. Graveside services and interment at 2:30 p.m. on Friday in the Center Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include a brother Roy Fear of Marion; two sister-in-laws Mildred Fear of Dubuque, and Doris Liabo of Naples, Fla.; seven nieces and nephews, Roger Reid, Bret Fear, Nancy Trowbridge, Dennis Fear, Lila Opitz, Randy Liabo, and Mark Liabo; a number of great nieces and great nephews; and a dear friend Eleanor Green She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; four brothers, John Laverne, Wayne, Merle, and Herb; and two sisters, Elsie and Emma.

Eve was born May 31, 1915, in Hopkinton, Iowa, to John and Verna Meister Fear. She married Earl Fiscus June 21, 1936. He died in 1948. She married Donald Elliott, Oct. 4, 1950. He died May 3, 1971. She was employed in sales at Standard Appliance.
