Ellen M. Hanson, 84, of Maquoketa, formerly of Baldwin, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Maquoketa Care Center. A celebration of Ellen's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Monmouth, Iowa, Cemetery.
Those left to honor Ellen's memory include her children, David (Debbie) Hanson of Eldridge, Larry (Carol) Hanson of Robins and Beth (Mark) Kinrade of Sioux Center; six grand-children; and three great-grandchildren.
