Elizabeth "Betty" Marie (Fultz) Morlan, 85, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away March 16, 2014.
Betty was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Oliver and Rachel (Van Blaricum) Loy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bernard Fultz; son, Kevin Fultz; four brothers, Leslie, John, William and James; and sisters, Helen and Gladys.
Betty was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church and Choir and PEO AU Chapter. She loved to write poems and songs.
On June 10, 1966, Betty married Clayton Morlan in Marengo, Iowa. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors are two sons, Tracy (Donna) Fultz and Terry (Susan) Fultz, both of Ames, Iowa; two daughters, Connie Fultz (Curt Feller), Ladora, Iowa, and Janet (Jim) Barnes, Overland Park, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Shannon, Elizabeth, Danielle, Cerissa, Tyler and Rachel; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, Mo. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Graveside service: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
