She graduated from North High School in 1943 and the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 1947. She took great pride in being a nurse and enjoyed working in Chicago before returning to Des Moines. She married Jerome (Jerry) Druker in 1952. They lived in Marshalltown, Iowa, until 1970. Libby and Jerry moved to Cedar Rapids in 1970 where they completed raising their children. Libby worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District and with Visiting Nurses Association. Jerry died in 1989. Libby married Arnold Bucksbaum in 1991. They lived in Cedar Rapids and Phoenix and enjoyed their families, dancing, traveling and gardening. Libby was a very proud wife, mother and grandmother.
Libby was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Sam Kimmel; and her sister, Reva Morrison. In addition to her four children and her cherished husband, Arnold, she is survived by her sister, Harriet Pidgeon of Des Moines; and four grandchildren, Wade S. Hauser (Eva Pesch), Annie Hauser, Jacob Druker and Rosa Druker.
