Elijah Michael Stratton, precious baby boy of Darrell and BreAnn (Marook) Stratton, received his angel wings on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He was able to give to others through organ donation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, officiated by Pastor Rick Zickefoose. The family will greet friends one hour before services at the funeral home.
Elijah was born May 17, 2020, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Although he spent such a small amount of time with us on Earth, he was loved dearly and will never be forgotten.
Elijah is survived by his parents; five siblings, Zeke Terrell, Anthony Butrick, Jasmine Stratton, Mia Marook and Dominic Marook, all of Marion; grandparents, Amy Franco and Angel Franco of Marion, Janell Stratton and Craig Stratton, both of Cedar Rapids; great-grandparents, Sherry Nagle of Utah, Judy Schreiber of Marion and Donna Jacobsen of North Carolina; four uncles, Mathew (Leyah Morgan) Marook and Angel Franco Jr., both of Marion, Jared Stratton of Waterloo, Iowa, and Daniel Stratton of Colorado; and three great-aunts, Lynnann Marook of Colfax, Iowa, Libbi Watters of Utah and Lauri Perkins of Missouri.
