Elenora B. “Ellie” Rich 94, of Cedar Rapids passed away June 26, 2024. Visitation: 10 AM-12 PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Graveside Service: 12 PM, Wednesday, July 3, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Forest Lawn.
Ellie was born on July 13, 1929, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Paul and Martha (Griechen) Bossaller. She had worked as a childcare provider and was a stay-at-home mom for many years. Ellie was an avid gardener and painter. She also enjoyed music, playing bridge, and baking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Her late husband Herbert Rich passed away in 2009.
She was the mother of two children Scott (Linda) Bullene and Lori Morini all of Cedar Rapids. Ellie is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was one of nine siblings, two of which are still living, Verla Fritz and Marie Clemons.
