Eleanor M. Woodson
ELEANOR M. WOODSON Tipton Eleanor M. Woodson, 96, died peacefully at Cedar Manor in Tipton on Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was born June 11, 1919, and was the daughter of Arthur and Margaret Glennon Farr. Eleanor was a long-time resident of Cedar Rapids. She attended St. Patrick's Church and school in Cedar Rapids. She went back to school at the age of 70 to obtain her high school diploma. Eleanor enjoyed music and dancing, and she loved her family. A wonderful mom and homemaker, she worked at Younkers for 10 years. Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Welch of New Liberty, Iowa, and son, George "Woody" Woodson and wife, Judy, of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Roger Krug.
