Eldon "Bud" Lee, 80, of Anamosa, died Friday Aug. 1, 2014. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by Pastor John Keizer from Springville United Methodist Church. Burial: entombment, Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; his daughters, Marilyn Lee of Marion and Pam Lee of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Carla Lee of Pleasant Hill, Christina Lee of Des Moines and April Lee of Pleasant Hill; a great-grandchild, Natasha Lee of Des Moines; his brothers, Delmer Lee and Lonnie Lee, both of Spirit Lake; and his foster daughter, Mary Swalley of Wellman, all of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Darrell Lee.
Bud was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Palo Alto County, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Leah (Fessler) Lee. He married Alice Nicoll on Sept. 27, 1953, in Mechanicsville, Iowa. Bud was a farmer. He also was a custodian at Linn-Mar High School. He was a member of Springville United Methodist Church and the Lions Club. He was a Mason and enjoyed camping and collecting John Deere tractors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
