Elberta Huinker, 84, of Calmar, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar, with the Rev. Robert Gross presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, French Chapel, 202 S. Washington St., Calmar, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Wayne (Roxanne) Huinker, John (Ruth) Huinker, Mike (Kim) Huinker and Ed Huinker, all of Decorah, Jeanie (Jim Kircher) Sullivan of Iowa City, Ann (Dennis) Tressel of Dubuque and Becky Huinker of Chicago; son-in-law, Thomas Timp of Dubuque; and sister, Imogene Macal of Decorah.
