Einwalter, Gene
Gene Einwalter, 82, of Fort Atkinson, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, with his wife, Madonna, by his side. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at St. John's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. with the Rev. Nick March presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home Chekal Chapel in Fort Atkinson, with a rosary at 4 p.m. and Scripture service at 5 p.m. There also will be visitation after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Gene is survived by his wife, Madonna, Fort Atkinson; three daughters, Jane (Tom) Milcoff of Cedar Rapids, Donna (Kevin) Ellis of Cedar Rapids and Joann (Dean) Kron of Johnston; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Polly (Mark) Brooks and Mason of West Des Moines, Tony (Michelle) Milcoff and Mikayla, Skila and Genna of Amana, Gene Secora (Angie Johnson) and Dylon, Paige and Emersyn of Marion, Alisha Ellis and Dominic and Nadia of Des Moines and Alex and Leah Kron of Iowa City; one sister, Sister Arlene Einwalter, Greenfield, Wis.; sisters-in-law, Sister Cephas Wichman, Cedar Rapids, Eleanor Burke, Elma, Margaret (Dick) Reginold, Fairbank, Lynnette (Paul) Ellefson, Mesa, Ariz., Mary Ann Wichman, Marion, and Elaine (Al) Spence, Rudolph, Ohio; and brothers-in-law, Robert (Marian) Wichman, Cedar Rapids, and Leo (Mary) Mihm, Portland, Ore.
