Eichhorn, Sheryl Sue
Sheryl Sue Eichhorn, 61, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Funeral Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Andrews officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may register at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Thursday.
A memorial fund has been established.
Sheryl was born Jan. 20, 1948, at Marengo to Elmer and Garland (Gilbert) Eichhorn. She attended school in Blairstown and graduated from Vinton's Washington High School in 1969. Sheryl had worked at the Marengo Nursing Home and Goodwill and was currently employed by Options. She enjoyed membership at Christian Fellowship Church in Belle Plaine and also enjoyed shopping and playing cards and Bingo.
Sheryl is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her parents and her sister, Karen Eichhorn, preceded her in death.
