Edwards, Hilda Laurene
Hilda Laurene Edwards, 91, of Washington, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington after failing in health since June. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will take place at Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Ainsworth Community Church.

Hilda is survived by her daughter, Diane Anding of Ainsworth; son, Gary Edwards and wife Pamela of St. Charles, Mo.; daughter, Jan Edwards of Warsaw, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Phyllis Schlatter and husband Max of Annawan, Ill.; and one brother, Max Fulton and wife Ann “Biddy” of Grand Rapids, Minn.
