Edward Paul Kleinstauber, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, in Manor Care Health Center. Celebration of Life service will be held at Four Oaks Bridge, 2100 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. Iowa Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Clinton and Lisa Frazier; and 14 grandchildren, Tim Frazier, Chante Frazier, Cheyanne Frazier, Tyler Frazier, Olivia Kleinstauber, Liz Frazier, Jhaime Frazier, Billy Frazier, Jeremy Frazier, Laura Emanis, Jennifer Johnson, Travis Johnson, Janine Johnson and Tameia Love. Also surviving are 26 great-grandchildren and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Kleinstauber; his parents; a brother, Rudolph Leisenring; and a sister, Anna Leisenring.
Edward was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Amana, Iowa, the son of Paul and Anna (Leisenring) Kleinstauber. Edward served in the Marine Corp. during the Korean War. Edward was a lead press operator for Collins Radio. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and football. He treasured his family and enjoyed the time he shared with him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
