Edward Kremenak, 103, of Clutier, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at Northbrook Manor in Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a time of sharing at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, March 14, at Hrabak Funeral Service in Belle Plaine. A private family graveside will take place at National Cemetery, Vining.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Edward, the son of Frank and Mary (Lavicka) Kremenak, was born Nov. 17, 1912, in rural Clutier, Iowa. He graduated from Clutier High School in 1931. Following high school, he graduated from State Teachers College with his teaching certificate. On June 15, 1943, Ed was married to the love of his life, Ollie Blaha. Together the couple made their home on the family farm.
He had many hobbies, including dancing, playing clarinet and saxophone, playing cards, gardening, woodworking and traveling with Ollie.
He was a member of WFLA Lodge 104 in Cedar Rapids and CSA 279 in Vining; and was a rural school director, rural telephone director and Oneida township director.
Ed is survived by his wife, Ollie, of 72 years; daughter, Kathleen Brundage of Ely; sons, David (Sharon) Kremenak of Marengo and Darrell (Gayle) Kremenak of Laurens, S.C.; grandchildren, Michelle Brundage, Tom E. Brundage, Melissa (Chris) Abernathey and Ashlyn (Jarron) Christianson; and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Juliana, Byron and Tynley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Tom Brundage; sister, Olga Hartman; four brothers-in-law; and a sister-in-law.
Edward always encouraged his children to play music and be involved in sports.
Ed had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family.
He will be missed dearly.
