Edna Mae Wall, 79, of 109 Ninth St., Monticello, formerly of Cascade, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at her home in Monticello. Friends and relatives of Edna may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade and after 10 a.m. Monday, March 9, at the United Church of Monticello. Services for Edna will be 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with Pastor Edwin Moreand presiding. Burial will be in Cascade Community Cemetery in Cascade.
Edna was born Oct. 2, 1935, in Grapeland, Texas, daughter of Fletcher and Ema Jewel (Tisdale) Weisinger. She received her education at Grapeland High School. On Dec. 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to William R. Wall Sr. at Cascade Community Presbyterian Church in Cascade. Edna was employed as a dispatcher for the Cascade Police, Fire and EMS.
She was a member of the United Church of Monticello.
She is survived by five children, Karen (Ted) Endicott Jr. of Kempner, Texas, William "Bill" (Rebekka) Wall Jr. of Crockett, Texas, Thomas "Tom" (Collette) Wall of Monticello, Eugene "Gene" (Donna) Wall of Monticello and Ronda (Scott) Powers of Alburnett; 14 grandchildren, Raelynn Endicott, KristaLea (Paul) Endicott Armenturut, Jesse James Endicott, Anna and Krystal Wall, Hanna and Andrew Wall, Cody (McKenzie) Wall, Shelby (Thomas), Kiley and Destiny Wall, Riley Powers, Devin Conway and Darrian Conway; five great- grandchildren, Matthew James Perry, John Avery Wall, Abigail Wall, Acea Endicott and Brantly Endicott-Armenturut; brothers and sisters, Donald Weisinger, Laura McQueen and Winnie Bridges, all of Grapeland, Texas, Fayelynn Paul of Crockett, Texas, and Billie Couch of Grapeland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. Wall Sr., on Feb. 11, 2012; one daughter, Linda Sue Wall, in 1972; a brother, James Weisinger; four half brothers and two half sisters.
