Edna M. Mosher, 78, of Shellsburg, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at her home. Visitation will be held Monday, July 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Private inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Edna was born Jan. 15, 1939, to William and Margaret Smith in Monticello, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Marvin A. Mosher on June 16, 1956, in Dubuque.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her family and being a homemaker. She loved gardening and would can the vegetables that came from it. She was a lifelong learner and enjoyed reading (especially about history). Edna believed in holistic care.
She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin, of 61 years; children, Carol (Kenny) Tuttle of Marengo, David (special friend, Faith) Mosher of Cedar Rapids, Terry (Melissa) Mosher of Vinton and Cyndy (Steve) Logue of Cedar Rapids; and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sister, and a son, Marvin Mosher Jr.
