Edna Eileen Heiden, 88, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Denison. Burial: St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, St. Rose of Lima Parish Center, with a parish vigil at 7 p.m.
Survivors include her children, William Heiden of Grimes, Jerry (Jean) Heiden, Jay (Kim) Heiden and John (Shauna) Heiden, all of Denison; daughter, Patricia Heiden of Iowa City; daughter-in-law, June Heiden of Ames; sisters, Denice Watje of Denison and Theresa Rohwer of Cleveland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Betty Griffin of Denison; and special companion, Mel Schechinger of Nevada, Iowa.
Memorials are requested to St. Rose of Lima Catholic School.
