Edmondson, Rollin Clair 'Ed'
Rollin Clair “Ed” Edmondson, 94, of Washington, Iowa, formerly of Ames, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Halcyon House following a short illness. Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Kelly Allard officiating. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Interment will take place at Oregon Township Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by one son, William F. Edmondson and wife Deb of Marshalltown; one daughter, Barbara A. Edmondson of Washington, Iowa; two granddaughters; and a sister, Myra Piotrowski of Muscatine.
Memorials have been established for Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund or Hospice of Washington County.
