Edith M. Keilholtz, 72, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be Friday, May 12, at 9:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Monticello. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:30 p.m., where military rites will be accorded.
Edith was born Oct. 23, 1944, the daughter of Ernie and Flossie (Scott) Baker. She was a homemaker and taught Sunday school, and loved to sing in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry; and sister, Lois.
Left to cherish Edith's memories are her husband of 47 years, Dick Keilholtz; children, Melissa (Todd) Mather-Yock and Rich (Tabitha) Keilholtz; six grandchildren, Brandon, Regan, Maddie, Wyatt, Maddox and Danielle (Timmy); one great-grandchild on the way; two brothers, Tom and Frank; and two sisters, Janet and Betty.
Edith was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, as she truly was an amazing woman.
