EDITH "EDIE" BARGER

Edith Barger, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Edie was born May 9, 1926. Edie was united in marriage to Dean Terwilliger in 1948 until his death in 1961. In 1963, she was remarried to James Barger, who passed away in 2013. Edie was a longtime homemaker and worked at Montgomery Ward for many years.
She brought love to everyone's life and always was interested in those around her. Her passing leaves a hole in many lives.
Left to cherish Edie's memory are her children, Steven (Verlee) Terwilliger, Mark Terwilliger, Barb (Dan) Smith, Penny (John) Barnts and Joe (Christy) Barger; her sister, Lila Kellogg; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Edie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Merrick Ham; and great-granddaughter, Cecilia McKinley.
