Edaburn, Diana Ruth
Diana Ruth Edaburn, 49, went to rest on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a long illness. Per Diana's request, there will be no formal service. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Private burial: Campbell Cemetery, Bertram.
Survivors include her parents; brothers, Dale (Lori) and David (Mary); three nieces, Whitney, Chelsea and Kirby Anne; and one nephew, Jack, all of Cedar Rapids.
Diana was born Dec. 8, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Patricia (Workman) Edaburn. She graduated from Washington High School in 1981. Diana worked at I.E. before moving to Florida in 1984 to work in electronics sales. In 1991, she married Ned Kelly, and after 10 years, they divorced. She returned to Iowa in 2004 to be closer to her family. She put up a valiant struggle, being ill for 20 years.
