Eckholm, James 'Jim'
James “Jim” Eckholm died Friday, April 13, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City at the age of 58 years. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Williamsburg. Pastor Richard Meyer will officiate. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Debra of Williamsburg; three daughters, Angie (Dewayne) Pounds and Heather (Joel) Stanerson, both of Conroy, and Lacey Von Lienen of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; his father, Marvin “Pete” (Beverly) Eckholm of Waterloo; five brothers and sisters, Gary (Nancy) Eckholm of Jesup, Shelly (Dale) Kaplan of Belle Plaine, Jeanie (Bill) Montross and De Etta (Steve) Morrow, both of Millersburg, and Jeff (Lisa) Eckholm of Williamsburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Leona Wille of North English.
Memorials are for Immanuel Lutheran Church, LIS or Mercy Hospice, Iowa City.
