EASTON RICHARD LINDEMAN
Brandon
Easton Richard Lindeman, at the age of 3, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital following a year-long battle with cancer. A celebration
of life will be held at a later date.
Easton was born Aug. 16, 2017, the son of Corey and Samantha (Yenser) Lindeman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Easton loved spending time playing with his brother and his best friend and cousin, Eleanor. He was a lover of the outdoors and always wanted to go hunting with dad or camping with his family. His "damma" Dawn, "dampa" Doug and Grandpa Scott held a special place in his heart. Easton always had a smile on his face and brought joy to everyone he saw. Even when he was undergoing his chemo treatments, he would walk around the hospital floor and pass (or throw) out candy. He was a lover of animals and had the sweetest way with all of them.
Easton is survived by his parents, Corey and Samantha Lindeman; and brother, Hunter of Brandon, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Doug and Dawn Yenser; and maternal great-grandparents, Ken and Joyce Schueler, all of Vinton; maternal great-grandma, Celia Yenser of Watertown, Wis.; paternal grandfather, Scott Lindeman of Dysart; paternal grandmother, Joanna (Chuck) Howell of Oelwein; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Maryann Sothman of Atlantic; his aunts and uncles, April (Cody) Phillips, Madison (Ben) Wilson, Amber (Nathaniel) Heiden, Christina Carder, Mari (Scott) Schminke, Crystal (James) Jacobs, James (Jennifer) Yenser and Kris (Dana) Howell; and his cousins, Riley, Eleanor, Piper, Tahlia, Tristan, Cody, Gunnar, Allyssa, Kaylee, Paige, Tony and Walter. He also left behind numerous great aunts, great-uncles and extended family who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his infant cousin, Brielle; great-grandpa, Gerald Yenser;and great-grandparents, Donavon and Eldora Carlson.
Easton's family would like to extend a special "thank you" to everyone at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital for the excellent and personal care provided to Easton and their family.
