Earl William Merritt, 92, of Marion, Iowa, formerly of the Springville, Iowa, area, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, surrounded by his family. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in CENTER POINT. Please be mindful of social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, at Springville Cemetery in Springville, officiated by Mike Schultz.
