Earl E. Van Steenhuyse, 77, of Irvine, Calif., formerly of Williamsburg, died May 28, 2014. A private
family inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cem-etery, Williamsburg.
Earl was born Nov. 19, 1936 in Van Horne to Walter and Louise Simmons Van Steenhuyse. He graduated from Williamsburg High School, attended Iowa State University and was a bank president, retiring after 25 years in the profession.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Peggy Elwood Van Steenhuyse; his children, Mark, Matt, David, Jane and Laura and 13 grandchildren, all of southern California; and his sister, Rita Van Steenhuyse Bower, Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ray, Gerry and Leo; and his sister, Mary Van Steenhuyse Frazier.
